Date and glasses

This is me in my new glasses.
I have to tell you,they have caused quite a stir on facebook. My family and friends have been praising the look.But they said if they didnt know it was my page they wouldnt know it was me. I dont think I look that different.I think it is my hair also.
Oh well I have to wear them though,because my left eye has gotten dramatically worse and I just had my old pair for show. I never wore them.
Matteo and I had a great time at Thomas and he got a ton of loot,the guy next to us commented on all his stuff."Boy,you got everything" he said to Matteo.Well he did get alot but I would never say anything that rudely to someone.Because you know what there was a time when I wouldnt have been able to afford any of it,let alone a ticket. So,if I want to do something special for my kids I will. And yes I will admit they have been alittle spoiled lately,but so what.


We topped it all off by a visit to Chukie Cheese the next day on the way home.After a nice sleep in a big hotel bed.Just me and my little guy,it was great.

Dreaming

Almost nine months later and Matteo can't stop talking about "Disneyland in California". Money well spent I think.
He even talks about it in his sleep.
I guess Frankie has decided "if you can't beat em,join em".

And our Lobster feast. My mom and dad went on a holiday to Nova Scotia(my moms dream)and flew 10 lobsters and freash scallops home.Yummo! That blond guy is my dad and yes biological!People always thought I must have been from a previous marriage my mom had.But since they been together since she was 15 and got married straight out of highschool.Its highly unlikely!They just celebrated their 33rd.
Arent they cute.They both are going though some health scares right now,they have had so much stress with my brother.I hope they will both be ok and live long and healthy lives.Love you both.

Weekend in Winnipeg

We had alot of fun at the car show. The hotel Delta Winnipeg was really nice too. And such a good price.
The girls waited 2 and a half hours to see Jason Earles. aka Jackson from the show Hannah Montana. They looked so in love. So cute.


Matteo was so happy to seee Mater. Hard to tell from his pictures though. He is doing this new thing as soon as you are about to click. He gets a really serious face. Still cute though.He thought he had to pose by touching the tires of all the cars.

I must be nuts!

Last night I was half listening to the TV and I heard "Mater from Cars at Winnipeg car show". Well as you all know we travelled to Disney last month. And we had so much fun.But the one thing we wanted most of all for Matteo was to see Mater and Lightening Mcqueen. But they were both getting refurbished. I almost cryed( i did actually feel alittle teary. It was something I wanted for my little boy soo much.

Anywho, Mater is going to be in Winnipeg on the weekend. Now I have never been to Manitoba. And to go without Joe too! I am alittle scared it is about 4 hrs away and we will spend the night. And on Sunday Jackson from Hannah Montana will be there as well.So, Frankie and her friend Sidney are excitedabout it too.

The admission is really cheap, which is great since it will be a bundle in gas. Should be a real adventure, wish me luck! I know I can do it I did drive all the way to BC with the kids and no Joe last summer. I am a trooper.

The kids had so much fun and to be there with their cousins. Priceless! And cousins too of course! I am lucky to be so close with them. They are the sisters I never had.

Back to life as normal

The trip is all done. It was so much fun. Over too quick.Next time I would do 10 days. Cause once you have payed for your flights, the only extra cost is food and hotel. And hotel is actually the cheap part.
Now we have to get back on some sort of a routine. but its tough well school starts on Wednesday. We will try then and back to dieting or rather Healthy living!!! hopefully with some weight loss.

Packing Panic Frenzy

I am such an overpacker. So, you can imagine that leaving in 4 days for Disneyland, has put me in near convulsions. I cant take the stress of it. And to top it off Joe is away at work again during the packing process. So, no help. I go through this every time and then end up not needing everything.
At Christmas we travelled to Kamloops by plane. I had to pay 50 dollar overweight fee, there and back. And that was with putting a ton of stuff on the bus. I am hopeless.
A week in a different climate has sent me into a tailspin. I have bought new clothes for everyone and I am sure I will buY some there. Yet I still pack all our old stuff.
I mean I know Matteo is only 2 and quite messy. But like 17 shirts for 7 days!!!!! And that doesnt include the ones he will be wearing and the ones in the diaper bag.
And to top it all off, I have to pack a fan for my husband.No matter what time of year. The man needs a fan and the louder the better.
I am sure I will make it through but to top it all off Matteo has been being terrible and hitting everyone in site. Spitting out his drinks, throwing food and SCREAMING at the top of his lungs.
Well, I will keep packing and Matteo will keep unpacking. THe airline Im sure will once again make a pretty penny off of me.
